Serving The Cake
1. Remove each tier
2. Cut the bottom layer at the edge of the second layer so that you have a ring of cake. Cut that ring into wedges.
3. Continue cutting rings then wedges
4. Repeat this process with remaining layers
5. The smaller layer (top layer), can be removed and saved for the bride and groom to celebrate their first anniversary. |
The Anniversary Cake
Traditionally the top layer of cake is frozen for the bride and groom to enjoy while celebrating
their first anniversary. Chances are, the cake won’t taste like it did on the wedding day. If you do intend on keeping the
cake, wrap it in paper before wrapping in plastic should help with freezer burn. |
